Progress to date

The Government is continuing to work with Industry to implement the Non-Tariff Barriers Action Plan, including maintaining a web portal for businesses to report NTBs impacting their exports overseas.

This includes advocating to remove unjustified barriers identified as high priority for Australian industry and to remove barriers to diversifying Australian exports into new markets. The Government is now more coordinated across agencies in acting to address NTBs and is working to embed the tools and practices developed under the NTB Action Plan.
